Absolutely horrible taste.

Tiger Tiger have produced this packet of Rice Noodles, that are aimed at the Gluten Free market somewhat, sold currently in Morrisons and possible other stores in the UK.

I actually can’t find this product on Tiger Tiger’s official website, they have some similar products, but not the same one. I hope it means they’ve discontinued this box of noodles since I’ve found them to be some of the worst tasting noodles I’ve ever had.

I cooked them exactly as the packet instructed, and mixed  in some sweet and sour sauce afterwards, that I always have and tastes amazing with everything but this. It was a disaster, I tried again and cooked them plain, to see if it was just the sauce that was the problem, and ate them with a stir-fry and it was horrible also. I gave them one last chance and cooked them differently, I cooked them the same as I do with most other rice noodles. But they became ridiculously gluey and kept their horrible metallic taste.

These noodles may be cheap, but it’s a complete waste of money if they taste as bad as they do. Maybe I just got a batch of bad noodles, I’m not sure, but I’m not going to bother tasting them again.

Absolutely horrible taste.
