The Razer Naga 2014 is a top of the range mouse produced by Razer. This mouse was mainly designed for MMO games, with the inclusion of a 12 extra macro keys on the side of the mouse being it’s core feature.
The mouse performs excellently even without customization, it has a light build, it’s a convenient size; not too big or small, the material feels sturdy and non-stick, it has a long lead so you won’t be annoyed when using it on a large desk. As a basic mouse, it’s got all the qualities you’ll want but obviously it’s not just a basic mouse, it has more features.
With the Razer Synapse application you can control just about everything to customize with the mouse, from every key use, to the lights on the mouse. In addition to the extra 12 buttons on the left side of the mouse, there’s an extension the usual 1 middle mouse button, the Razer Naga also has 4 extra buttons, 2 on the mouse wheel either side and 2 underneath the mouse wheel. The mouse has so many buttons that you can pretty much control an entire game’s controls from just the mouse, which is obviously very convenient for MMOs where you often run out of easy to use keyboard bindings.
Overall the price of this mouse reflects it’s quality, and if you want a mouse for more complex controlled games, this is the mouse for you, it has everything you’d want for a reasonable price considering the quality. As usual Razer delivers another great product and cements their status as the brand to go to for PC peripherals.
